Come What May Counselling is a safe space to heal, grow, and weather whatever life brings. I provide individual counselling in a confidential and harmonious space and I offer a safe, compassionate and grounded presence where you will feel heard and understood.
My approach is integrative, person-centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based and recovery-oriented. I draw on a range of creative and therapeutic modalities and skills. I will shape therapy around your needs drawing upon evidence-based modalities including mindfulness, somatic awareness, narrative therapy, existential therapy, nature-based and solution-focused therapies.
I can support you with grief and loss, anxiety, learning difficulties, life transitions and adjustment issues, neurodivergence, self-esteem, personal development, school issues, stress, and trauma, as well as general counselling. I bring to the counselling space 25 years of experience working with children and young people as a teacher and educator.
My specialty is to hold the space for you, to connect and listen. I'll walk alongside you each step of the way and guide the process. I recommend 3 - 4 sessions to get to know what you are experiencing and consider the direction of therapy. I will select therapeutic modalities and interventions based on what you bring and the changes you would like to make.
