Welcome! I am a clinical psychology registrar and registered psychologist based in Newcastle, NSW. I offer both therapy and psychological assessment. On the therapy side, I am trained primarily in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and work mostly with adolescents and adults. My style is warm, calm, non-judgemental, and easy to talk to - with a bit of humour when it helps. Regarding assessment, I am trained to assess and diagnose individuals of all ages with suspected ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), and concerns about cognitive or functional capacity.
Over the years, I've worked with many adolescents and adults who are facing challenges to help them grow and find a better quality of life. In my assessment work, I keep things thorough but straightforward: I will explain what we are doing and why, look at the whole picture (not just one test score), and make sure results translate into real-life supports.
