I support clients who are experiencing a range of issues, through my client-centred counselling sessions. The aim of my work is to reduce psychological distress and promote healthy coping skills. Clients often present with a range of symptoms, including emotional dysregulation, disruptive mood cycles, anxiety and stress. My clients can expect to feel heard, understood and validated. They often require coping strategies to self-regulate, improve the structure of their days and build healthy boundaries.
Through a combination of academic achievement in psychology, lived experience and on-going high standards in professional development, I am able to provide support, assessment and intervention. I have a keen interest in developmental trauma and early attachments, which provides a theoretical underpinning for my therapeutic work.
My approach is always client-centred. I build rapport through compassion, genuine empathy and warmth, providing a safe space for my clients to open and engage through trust.
