Claire R Chang

Psychotherapist, MA, PACFA

I work with individuals to navigate and move beyond obstacles to reconnect to the inherent (although often dormant or obscured) state of health and wisdom within. I believe as humans we have a natural inclination and endless capacity towards growth and healing. In any and every moment, given the right conditions, profound change can take place. Doubt, fear and suffering may exist for each of us, but so too can experiences of great clarity, curiosity, compassion, creativity, meaning, freedom, purpose, presence, and joy.

I specialize in working with individuals with complex or chronic issues, and extreme states. This includes psychosis, suicidality, dissociation, spirituality, Aspergers Syndrome & neurodiversity, psychiatric survivors, carers & close community, and I enjoy working with other helping professionals experiencing mental health challenges.

My work is informed and inspired by 15yrs in the field, professional training, mind-body/spiritual traditions, and the natural world. I work from a foundation of relationship and awareness. Cultivating these, individually and together, we can navigate whatever storms towards new experiences, healing & greater ease in living.
