I'm a person-centred, somatically informed therapist working in this field for the past 8 years. You might be a good fit with me if you're curious about understanding yourself and what’s really going on around you — but find that it's complex, overwhelming, or anxiety-inducing to try. I worked extensively with complex PTSD, DV, attachment issues, parenting, depression, separation, addiction, and more. Though sometimes it can feel like things can't possibly change, I find my clients picking up pieces of themselves along the way, and so when things fall apart again, we both know that none of them were ever truly lost.
This process usually unfolds when I create a safe space for clients to be deeply seen, heard and understood at their point in the journey. Somatic approaches also helps me to listen beyond words. I welcome clients exactly where they are, and help them reconnect with their own wisdom and strength - especially in the places where they’ve lost sight of it.
I’ve also been a client myself for over 7 years, and along the way I’ve found refuge and meaning in art, nature, and sometimes just riding out the storm — allowing myself to crumble when I needed to.
