About
Hi, I'm Christine. I have been practicing as a trauma counsellor and registered Psychologist for nearly ten years. My interests have primarily been in treating trauma, depression and anxiety while providing counselling to diverse clients including adults (privately or with a GP referral), Emergency Services staff (Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria), counselling survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse, Yoga and Mindfulness Coaching for Veterans, and completing family assessments for child disputes in the Federal Circuit and Family Court.
My special area of interest is trauma and I believe trauma forms the basis of many types of psychological distress and suffering. I am passionate about using evidence based treatments to support clients in their healing and recovery including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and EMDR.
