About
Hi, I'm Chris, I am relationship therapist with a special interest in working with women and couples to improve their wellbeing and relationships. Being a working mother I get it! I know what it's like to feel the tension between balancing work, parenting and being a partner. After giving everything to work, children and partner we often forget about nourishing and making time for ourselves. My clients tell me that feel like they have lost a little part of themselves, are concerned about the loss of connection in their relationship, particularly children. I am passionate about helping couples reconnect and communicate again.
I have professional qualifications in Gottman Couple Therapy, a Masters in Positive Psychology and over 20 years experience. Not only that I know what it's like to balance working full time, raising a family and being a partner. I am a real person with real life experience. I am real, straight forward, warm and caring in my approach.
Regardless of all the training I might have done I believe that everyone comes to therapy with strengths. We work together to work through and overcome whatever issues you might have. I know that it takes a lot of courage to ask for help and I see it as a privilege to be trusted to help. Please feel welcome to call or email me so we can discuss how I help.
