I am passionate in helping people of all genders and standing in life, with a focus on men in need of direction in life, recover from traumatic events and adjustment to life challenges and changes, struggling with high prevalence disorders and AOD / changes related to addictions. Being a Veteran myself, I strongly align practices for people in active or former services.
I follow an eclectic therapeutic approach, working with Schemas, using EMDR, CBT, ACT underpinned by hypnotherapy. Medicare and Veterans Affairs registered. Limited work for WorkCover.
From a military background, I do get trauma and adjustment-related challenges. Active work in residential addiction recovery work shaped a compassionate approach to assisting during the road to recovery. Many years in executive roles in (mental health and alcohol & other drugs) health management positions me to assist work employment related challenges
