We are a group of psychologists that have expertise in infant, child and adolescent psychology across a wide range of presenting concerns. Our clinic is geared towards making children and young people feel safe and comfortable. We work with clients ranging from 0 to 25 years of age (and their families). Renee Melges is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and Kinesiologist with a Masters is Clinical Psychology. She has over 25 years experience working as a Psychologist and over 16 years experience working as a Kinesiologist in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing. Renee Melges combines eastern and western philosophies to assist the client to maximise their potential and facilitate personal growth. Renee Melges provides Online and In person Holistic Counselling for adults, adolescents and primary school children across Australia. Renee Melges specialises in mood and anxiety disorders.

I work with people of various cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds in both specialist health services (justice, family violence), schools (from Prep to Year 12) and specialist mental health services (adult residential services). I also facilitate group wellbeing programs for individuals & businesses, and have co-facilitated group workshops focused on teaching people practical skills to manage distress. I work best with people who are ready to take what we discuss in session, and implement this in their lives. I was born in Borneo, identify as gay, and have experience living in different countries and cultures. I offer more than ten years of clinical experience in counselling and psychotherapy, specialising in loss and grief, gender and sexuality, complex trauma and abuse, attachment issues, ASD, ADHD, personality disorders, relationship and intimacy issues, anger management, family conflicts, workplace bullying, and intercultural adjustment issues.

Since completing the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology, I have been passionate about helping people achieve positive mental health outcomes. I have a Social Work background with experience in consultation services, child protection, family intervention, clinical mental health services, systems work, senior leadership and management. I am originally from Turrbal and Jagera country but have called Naarm home since mid-2022. My mob are Mununjali, and I am a proud Aboriginal person. I identify as queer and as a proud ADHDer.
