About
I am a bilingual (English and Chinese Putonghua) clinical psychologist working with anxiety, social anxiety, phobia, depression, obsessive compulsive traits, trauma, autism spectrum, attention deficits, chronic pain/fatigue, impulsivity and emotional regulation difficulties. Clients also seek my help in navigating their relationship problems, family conflicts, parenting struggles, life transitions or existential doubts. My clients feel a sense of focus, autonomy and equality in our sessions. I believe that the roots of psychological suffering can be addressed, and deeper, long-lasting changes can happen in a reasonable time frame.
Experiential work is a key element of my practice; clients are encouraged to feel their feelings rather than just talk about their feelings. Only after facing our anger, grief, fears and guilt, we can walk towards healing, courage, freedom and renewed hope. My practice is culturally sensitive, feedback informed and evidence based.
It can be daunting to start if you have not seen a psychologist before or if you have had a previous negative experience with counselling. You are welcome to ask me questions about my qualification or experience. Learning more about your issues also help me decide whether I would be a good fit for you.
