Having a rough day, a rough week, or a rough year? In a world which can sometimes be challenging, overwhelming, complex and seriously hard to navigate, it’s not surprising that sometimes we don’t feel ok. But you don't have to navigate it alone. I’m Charlotte. I am a Psychologist, EMDR therapist, introvert and best friend to every cat I meet.
To me good therapy is goal oriented and together we will get curious and learn about why you are the way you are, and how you can manage in a way that works for you. I have an interest in working with trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, as well as anxiety, depression, grief and life transitions.
My approach is supportive and I tend to use curiosity, empathy and a sprinkling of humour to understand and know you deeply. To support each person in my office, as the unique human they are, I am trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches, such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT and parts work so that I can tailor my sessions to individual needs.
If this is your first time to therapy or returning to continue the work, it is a pleasure to have you here. I offer in person appointments in beautiful Olinda, as well as telehealth appointments across Australia.
