I am a counsellor and family therapist and work with adults, children, youth, and families, on a range of issues stemming from past or present experiences, which are impacting on them living their best life. Some people see me for brief solution orientated support, that focusses on what is happening in the here and now, and strategies to move forward. Others, benefitting from longer term therapeutic treatment and support.
Counselling work may include working through relationship issues, grief and loss, separation and divorce, anxiety and depression, work related issues, issues of burnout and career planning (coaching), family violence and other trauma, adjustment to becoming a new parent, parenting and carer related issues, adjusting to life transitions and case management.
My approach varies depending on the individual, and issues that are impacting on them. I value developing supportive and healthy relationships, that foster an environment of trust and that are conducive with healing and recovery. Please reach if you would like any further information.
