My approach is to listen deeply with empathy and compassion to ensure I provide a non-judgmental space for clients to share their stories and life experiences. I believe that creating a warm and friendly environment is key to building trust and fostering a sense of security for my clients. One of my strengths is the ability to connect and build trusting therapeutic relationships with the people I work with. I greatly value curiosity and kindness, and this supports me to deepen my understanding of your story in every session. This creates a relationship and space where you feel safe to express yourseef freely and authentically.
In my 10 years of experience, I have worked both in Chile and Australia in therapeutic settings supporting families, women and children who have experienced childhood trauma, gender-based violence, political and systemic abuse through individual, family and group interventions.
I use humour and playfulness in sessions, because I believe that counselling is the encounter of two -or more- human beings wanting to establish a deep and meaningful connection which then, in turn, can aid someone's recovery or healing journey through a trusting therapeutic relationship. If this resonates with you, I look forward to connecting with you.
