Hello, I'm Caroline, a clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist (candidate) who has many years of experience working with adults, in both community and government mental health settings, who are experiencing a range of difficulties in living and relating. I have a special interest in perinatal mental health which has been borne from an understanding of the developmental significance of the early years and have a keen passion in supporting both infants and their caregivers find their way together, with all the challenges that being human brings.
I have over 20 + years of clinical experience and am currently a trainee candidate with the Australian Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of WA. Over the years I have developed a deep appreciation of the powerful conscious and unconscious processes that shape all our lives and work to welcome and understand all aspects of being a person.
I bring to my practice my experiences of working across the lifespan from infancy to old age. I aim to work collaboratively and with empathy to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and strive to offer a developmental, attachment and trauma informed space, holding your emotional needs and wellbeing in mind.
