Welcome to Calm Connections Counselling. Sometimes we face struggles, challenges and obstacles in life where we disconnect and we need help to re-gain connection to our authentic self. You may be grieving a loss, facing difficulties within your family, in your parenting or within relationships. You may have experienced trauma or in a life transition, or perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious and feel like you cannot cope. Working with you, I draw on an integrated approach which encompass body, mind, emotion and spirit while drawing on modalities such as Acceptance Commitment theory, Emotions Focussed and Somatic therapy.
I specialise in working with young people, parents, families and individuals who are struggling with their mental health, childhood wounds, relationship difficulties, bereavement, depression, anxiety and trauma.
Connecting to a safe, secure base is often what we need to heal. I am a empathic, caring person who honours and cares about the therapeutic relationship. I offer a calm space for healing and will walk along side you to establish goals that work towards a life filled with hope, growth, belonging and meaning.
