My wealth of lived experiences including gender transition inform my collaborative client centred counselling approach. Whilst presenting issues may include depression, anxiety, identity incongruence, dysphoria, trauma, interpersonal challenges, addiction, loneliness, and more, I seek to work with the underlying causes as I believe that through addressing the root causes of the presenting symptoms that psychological wellbeing can be achieved without judgement or further pathologisation.

Aimee is a provisional psychologist providing therapy Australia-wide via videoconferencing. Aimee has background in supporting NDIS and private clients, including adolescents and adults presenting with stress, anxiety, and depression. She is interested in uncovering unconscious processes and providing skills to not only to alleviate the most obvious symptoms, but to help people lead healthier, fuller lives. Aimee tailors her therapeutic approach to the specific needs of the client.

I was born in Borneo, identify as gay, and have experience living in different countries and cultures. I offer more than ten years of clinical experience in counselling and psychotherapy, specialising in loss and grief, gender and sexuality, complex trauma and abuse, attachment issues, ASD, ADHD, personality disorders, relationship and intimacy issues, anger management, family conflicts, workplace bullying, and intercultural adjustment issues.
