From a young age Brooke was fascinated by the human mind and how it works. This fascination paired with a desire to help others, inspired Brooke to pursue psychology. Brooke studied psychology at Curtin University in Perth before moving to the southwest and working as a psychologist in schools. She likes working with young people, seeing it as an opportunity to make a difference early on in their lives to help them enjoy a richer and more fulfilling life. Brooke typically works with individuals aged 7-25 years old.
Brooke likes to keep therapy for young people engaging so they get the most out of sessions. Where appropriate, Brooke uses interactive therapeutic games, videos and virtual reality (VR) technology in sessions. This particularly works well for those who dislike or have difficulty with engaging in traditional talk therapy.
She enjoys working with people suffering from anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobia's & fears, social anxiety and school issues.
