Jean provides faith-based mobile Counselling & Art Therapy for women. You choose if you want therapy in the safety of your own home if within the Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions or prefer the convenience of online or phone options. Integrated evidenced-based counselling and art therapy methods are used to help you manage and the effects of stress, trauma, grief & loss, guilt, shame, depression, anxiety or relational issues. It is important that we work together in creating a counselling and/or art therapy plan that meets your unique/specific needs, which can include integrating Biblical principles for those of faith.
I am a practicing Christian and fully qualified trauma informed counsellor and master's degree art therapist. I have several years' experience working in suicide prevention, grief, trauma, and more recently, with survivors of domestic violence. My focus is to guide women in their journey to discover creative paths to a brighter more fulfilling life.
My lived experiences and own healing journey have prepared me to empathetically journey alongside you in your struggles. Creating art helped me when I had no words to describe my pain. Did you know that you don't need to be good at art for it to be good for you? Call me and let's discuss how integrating art into your therapeutic plan could work for you.
