Hi, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile and see if we might connect. I specialise in LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, and disability. Some of the issues that people bring to their sessions with me include - gender, sex and sexuality, religious trauma, parenting, relationships, family, mental health, and coping with daily life. Many of my clients are seeking a new perspective on challenges they've been managing for some time. Other times a difficult event, loss or personal crisis has occurred. My teen and young adult clients often need support with exploring identity, healthy relationships, self care and independence.
In therapy, I start from the belief that you are the expert in your life and I am here to listen without judgement, provide insights where needed, and help you draw on your own strengths, values and life experiences to solve problems. I'm an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, queer nonbinary and neurodivergent myself, and a member of AusPATH.
I understand it can be hard to reach out to a therapist, especially if you've had bad experiences in the past. I aim to be non-judgemental, safe and inclusive - I am a real person, genuinely interested in your journey. If you think that we might be able to connect, please get in touch and I'll be happy to answer your questions or book an appointment.
