I believe life can be complex and we all, at one time or another, will need support to navigate challenging circumstances life has thrown our way. I aim to help clients feel comfortable accessing therapeutic support so we can work effectively together to facilitate positive change for their wellbeing.I work with adult individuals experiencing stress, burnout, life changes, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship and health issues.I use a biopsychosocial framework (exploring life circumstances, history, health, strengths, family and social systems) and work collaboratively with you throughout the process.
I am based n Hobart but can also offer Telehealth. Since graduating as a Social Worker in 2007 and now working as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I have gained extensive experience working across a variety of settings including community and women’s health, adult mental health, higher education and corporate wellbeing support services.
I have a pragmatic, open-minded and easy-going nature, and take a holistic, person-centred focus in therapy. I have an integrative practice approach drawing on a range of therapeutic perspectives and interventions which I tailor to meet your individual needs.
