As a counsellor I have predominantly dealt with high risk, suicidal and self harm clients. However whilst in the midst of such difficult work I also possess a strength in working with anxiety, stress, communication, self-esteem and a variety of mental health issues. I aim to build an authentic therapeutic relationship in order to decipher what the goals, aspirations and motivations are of a client in order to understand what the path forward looks like. I make sure I take the time to listen, understand and truly comprehend what a client needs and how they want to achieve it within a solution focused mindset
I currently work with extremely volatile and high risk clients on a daily basis. So when dealing with stress, anxiety, self-esteem or any problems being faced, I know how to be as efficient as possible and get the best results for all my clients. Each problem is unique and so is the person facing them, which I understand an pride myself on in every session.
I listen to listen, and not listen to respond. You are the expert in your own life and I understand this. It is a key motivator in how I aim to work with you. No matter how difficult or how little the problem, I walk the path of discovery with you and can help you to realign, or simply help in the healing process.
