Our work together is not about ‘fixing’ you but rather a process of expanding your understanding of yourself through collaboratively identifying any deeply ingrained patterns of thought, feelings and behaviour you may have knowingly or unknowingly developed in response to your life experience to date.
In addition to general mental health presentations, my clinical experience in sexology involves working with both survivors and perpetrators of sexual abuse, individuals with paraphilic (atypical) sexual interests, and compulsive sexual behaviours.
Academically, I am a post-graduate qualified in counselling/psychotherapy, holding a Masters's degree while completing a PhD focused in psychosexual therapy. I adopt an integrative approach, using a range of evidence-based modalities, and seek to build a close relationship with those I work with to support them in accessing their own resources for growth.
