While it's natural to engage in pleasurable activities & behaviours, when that engagement becomes compulsive, overwhelming, and out-of-control, the negative consequences can become destructive & unmanageable, especially when addicted to Sex & Porn. We sometimes adopt these behaviours as a means of gaining momentary relief from any pain, anxiety, or trauma that exists in our lives, but regularly feel intense shame and despair after acting out sexually. Then, shame & isolation serve to maintain the addictive cycle, as the problem becomes more complex & often impacts our intimate partner. Don't despair: Help and recovery is available!

As a trained Sex Addiction Therapist, I understand the processes of addiction and the cycle of shame and isolation. Combining life coaching & counselling tools I assist you to create new possibilities for a future free from addictive behaviours and shame. I also offer Couples Recovery and help your Partner with Betrayal Trauma.

Treatment for Sex & Porn Addiction should be individualized, and requires significant psycho-education. Research shows that Sex & Porn addicts who have the most success in recovery include working with a specially trained counsellor and being involved in group therapy. I offer both individual and group therapy that supports your recovery.
