Hi I am Helen and I implement a strengths-based client centred approach to therapy. I assist people with disability, trauma, health issues, alcohol and other drugs and mood concerns. By working together we can identify your goals and formulate how to go about getting there. I enjoy working with work stress and burnout as well as short term solution focussed therapy in order to get back on track when this is required from time to time.
I can provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and EMDR. With a lengthy social work background across health industries, I am able to work well with carer issues and health issues and disability. This includes family and domestic violence.
