I am a registered psychologist and practising psychoanalyst who works with children, adolescents, and adults from both psychological and psychoanalytic perspectives. I work with a range of difficult experiences and problems, including anxiety, behavioural outbursts and anger, disordered eating and body image issues, intimacy concerns, and transitions in life such as beginning school and parenthood. I take a humanistic approach in my work, respecting each individual's dignity, agency, and experiences. I aim to foster a safe and productive therapeutic relationship, where your concerns can be heard, understood, and addressed.
Through my experience in high acuity and community settings, I use play therapy through a Lacanian psychoanalytic lens for children to assist them in demonstrating, speaking about, and finding solutions to difficulties in collaboration with their family and school. This transfers to a focus on speaking for adolescents and adults to address recurring patterns
