"Concerns about your identity can lead to feeling different from everyone else, being alone and isolated and fearing that no-one will understand how you feel or accept the way you are. I have extensive experience working with trans, gender diverse and non-binary people. "Are you needlessly suffering? Feeling like life is just not worth hanging on to? Why suffer when you don't have to? Imagine waking rested, full of life, laughing, free to go wherever you want to, with no irrational fears plaguing you, to feel connected to loved ones. It could be that you are struggling with anxiety. If you have an anxiety disorder, you may feel anxious or fearful in situations where there really is NO threat. All of which can result in you catastrophising, ‘knowing’ that something bad is going to happen. That mind/body connection thing people talk about, is real. What the mind richly imagines the body believes. "

Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression) Counsellors Bipolar disorder, also known as manic depression, is a chronically recurring condition involving moods that swing between the highs of mania and the lows of depression. Depression is by far the most pervasive feature of the illness, and the manic phase is usually a mix of irritability, anger, and depression, with or without euphoria. The elation may manifest as unusual energy and overconfidence, playing out in bouts of overspending or promiscuity.
While the depression of bipolar disorder can resist treatment, mood swings and recurrences can often be delayed or prevented with a mood stabilizer, alone or combined with other drugs. Therapy is an important adjunct to drugs, especially for dealing with the work and relationship problems that can accompany the disorder.
