I am a bilingual, culturally responsive counsellor. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives. Often, this expertise is lost in the problem-dominated life experiences. Through therapy, the intention is to take a step back and make their strengths more visible. I specialise in working with adults, international students, and recent migrants. We'll understand issues like anxiety, feeling down, and how your cultural background affects your self-confidence, choices, and relationships. My approach is all about making sure you feel valued and understood in your unique cultural context.
I offer to support people experiencing ADHD, anxiety, work-related stress, navigating inter-cultural conflicts, and relationships worries. I work with young adults, migrant men, women, LGBTQI, and parents from multicultural backgrounds. I adopt a culturally responsive approach and bring my lived experiences of migration & Indian culture in my practice.
Here, we create a space where your mental wellbeing is prioritised. You feel safe to talk about whatever feels heavy for you right now. It helps to acknowledge that seeking support for yourself is one of the most complex decisions & yet you feel ready to take this step.
