My therapeutic goal is to always develop a client's insight into their Mental Health challenges, to reduce psychological distress, and to develop more effective coping strategies.
I have supported clients in a diverse set of environments, such as in a private practice within a large Medical Practice in the Wollongong CBD, as well as medical rehabilitation wards, MH inpatient units, and community-based MH teams. My therapy approach is guided by Cognitive Behavioural, Acceptance & Commitment, as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
I have supported people who are in crisis, as well as those enduring chronic, complex symptoms. I am very experienced in helping adults cope with depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, psychosis, trauma, grief, anger, life adjustment issues, emotional dysregulation, eating disorders, and personality disorders.
