Hi, I'm Wendy Robertson and I am a Clinical Psychologist offering NDIS and fully Medicare bulk billed sessions to eligible adult clients Australia-wide via telehealth and bulk billed, private and NDIS adult and child client sessions face to face in my offices on the Sunshine Coast. I provide assessment and treatment for mental health concerns in adults and children such as depression, anxiety, and adjustment difficulties using evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and self-compassion and mindfulness therapies.
I enjoy working together with NDIS child and adult clients and their carers to assist and support clients to achieve their goals. Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, I was a mental health nurse in Victoria and Queensland, and my extensive experience assists me to understand the unique value and inherent importance of the therapeutic relationship.
It can be difficult to take the first step to make an appointment with a psyc and I appreciate that it definitely takes courage to reach out! To assist you, I offer a free 10- chat to discuss priority therapy goals and how we might work together to assist you or your child to deal with life's challenges and gain the skills to achieve those goals.
