I'm here for anyone who needs emotional support and is looking for ways to move forward. I have a special interest in trauma healing, in particular childhood trauma. If you are a survivor of emotional neglect and or abuse, you want to feel safe emotionally and physically again. You deserve to lead a full life without the past haunting the present. If you are struggling with addictions (substances and/or behavioural) and mental health, I am keen to help you, too.
I have specialised training in a number of experiential therapies such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Clinical Hypnosis and Brainspotting. We learn through experiencing the world. Unlike talk therapy, these therapies allow you to contact the deeper regions of the brain so that real transformation can occur. For details, see my website page "My Approach".
It takes courage to contact a therapist and open up about very personal feelings and circumstances. This is often more so for people with trauma, especially childhood trauma, because safety and trust were stolen from them. Clinical Hypnosis for Women's Wellbeing
Clinical hypnosis groups for women touches on issues such as: anxiety, sleep disturbances, mood swings, menopause, cravings and weight gain, people-pleasing/self-compassion, etc. Minimum of 3 women required. Groups are conducted at the South West Womens Health and Information Centre, Fielder St. Bunbury, WA. Weekly self-hypnosis practice between sessions is important for positive outcomes.
