My name is Stefanie, I am a PaCFA clinically registered counsellor and supervisor. I am trauma informed, neurodiversity affirming and a level 3 IFS therapist. I have lived experience of neurodiversity being ADHD.
I work collaboratively, helping you to move beyond simply surviving and be able to deal with life stressors with greater ease. Working together, we will explore your experience and difficulties to achieve a deeper understanding of who you are; how you think, feel and behave. My goal is to encourage you to be curious about your internal world and to heal the parts of yourself that hold your emotional wounds.
I work across all age groups and issues. I have a special interest in working with complex trauma as well as teens and young adults. By working with me, you will also develop a deeper understanding of the effects that stress, anxiety and other issues can have on your body and mental and physical health.
I bring empathy and understanding to every session. I also appreciate that seeking out a counsellor is significant first step; having the strength to give voice to your difficulties is hard.
