Cheryn loves her work and is a very dedicated, warm and engaging therapist, with a keen sense of the privilege and responsibility that her role involves. She enjoys accompanying her clients on their path through difficulty and grounds her work in an attuned and genuine understanding of her clients and their needs. ​ Cheryn has an affinity working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and her experience has enabled her to become resourceful in adapting therapies.

I offer a human service. I hold space for my clients, so that they can share and tell their story with the guarantee of safety. Together, we look at the things in their life that are no longer serving them, or holding them back from living the life they imagined. Unhelpful patterns, relationships, processes, may all be holding people back from crafting the life that they want to live.

Leonie has lived in the local area her whole life and has been practicing in Matraville for over 20 years. Leonie holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Sydney University, is AHPRA, NDIS and SIRA accredited. Through her career Leonie has assisted patients of virtually every cultural background and believes the diversity of her patients has led to her skill and strength as a practitioner.

As a seasoned and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, including teenagers, single adults, couples, and parents. My extensive background in cardiac physiology has provided me with a unique perspective on the intersection of physical health and mental well-being. In addition to my clinical practice, I am also qualified as a professional supervisor for counsellors.

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the counselling field. I have specialised in marriage counselling, family therapy, anxiety and depression and teenage counselling. I have also had a lot of experience with issues arising within families in the Islamic community. I have chosen to focus on women’s mindfulness, specifically because Islam emphasises the value of a woman and the importance of them being treated with respect, not being taken advantage of due to the vulnerability. Islam also conveys the rights of women, supporting them in seeking counselling in a time of need..

I am a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I have lived through a lot of different experiences. Born in Australia and one of 10 children. My marriage was mixed racially and I had 5 children of my own, who are now adults and am now blessed with a grandchild. I am divorced. I sought counselling for my own healing and eventually studied at a mature age. I now have the privilege of helping others through their life challenges, family, parenting, relationship issues, grief, mental health, whatever the struggle is.

We are a team of psychologists in the Liverpool. We see clients for various issues such as but not limited to anxiety, depression , gambling, adjustment issues, relationship issues , marriage counselling , self esteem , children, adolescents private clients, workcover, CTP , solicitors reports. We help in guiding you for whatever life changes you are going through.

Majority of the clients I have worked with, have had issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions challenges, relationship breakdowns, stress, low self-esteem and identity crisis, previous domestic violence abuse from parents and so much more. Over the years, I have found, taking a holistic approach when it comes to therapeutic techniques, exercises and treatment has immensely helped my clients overcome, understand and have readily available tools to help them.

I am an experienced counsellor with over 8 years of experience supporting teenagers right through to adults. I work with people experiencing difficulties in the areas of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, parenting, relationships and workplace issues. I am bilingual and work within a cultural sensitive framework.

My goal as a licenced professional counsellor is to assist my clients in making positive adjustments that sometimes seem just out of reach. But I assure you that there isn't! Life can be challenging sometimes, and you might feel slightly confused. But during our sessions, I'll be a supportive mentor, walking each step of the journey with you. you are restoring your inner self-assurance, humour, and light because what you seek will no longer be lost because it was always there! Every session I utilise a person-centred approach to help you gain the self-assurance you need to live your authentic, happy life.
