I specialise in helping adults with their alcohol and/or or substance use problems. I am a Registered Psychologist and have a PhD in Psychopharmacology with a special focus on addiction. I have a long-standing interest in the field of drug and alcohol issues and associated treatments. I provide treatment for issues relating to alcohol, cannabis, benzodiazepines, Z-drugs, opioids, nicotine, anaesthetics and GHB (but not for stimulants such as cocaine or methamphetamine).

Seeking treatment for your alcohol or drug use might seem scary, overwhelming, embarrassing even… and you might be uncertain about where you are at with it. That’s OK. I will try and meet you where you are at, and work with you at whatever place you find yourself right now.

My intention is to provide an empathic, non-judgmental, safe space for you to explore your alcohol and drug use in the context of the other parts of your life. I use my specialist knowledge, experience and skills to try help you make meaningful change in your alcohol or drug use and improve your overall physical, mental, personal and emotional wellbeing.

Individual Sessions $230

People with a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP can receive a Medicare rebate of $98.95 (more if you have reached the safety net) for 10 sessions per calendar year. Alternatively, people can use their private health insurance to receive a rebate (depending on the insurance you have).
