My name is Maria Machado, and I am a Principal Counsellor & Registered with ACA. I specialise in anxiety and trauma work. Over the years, I treated several clients experiencing generalized & chronic anxiety, particularly associated with panic attacks and social anxiety. Supported them to overcome their anxiety and fear that can usually paralyse you to enjoy your daily life.

Additionally, I have assisted those suffering from depression and supported individuals in understanding the process of grieving and losing loved ones, or other losses. I use a Trauma informed approach to help individuals process their underlining trauma and pain. I am bilingual and have extensive experience working with people from different backgrounds.
