The goal of a psychologist, in my view, is to provide insight and understanding into the hidden parts of the self. My intention is to support my clients to develop their understanding of themselves, to learn the skills to persevere independently, and to heal themselves. I am open to working with all individuals and work with both adults and adolescents. I have a particular interest in working with the following presentations:
• Confusion about identity, belonging and purpose
• Experiences of adversity and trauma
• Problematic or harmful behaviours
• Addiction issues
• Individuals involved in the justice system
My work as a psychologist is inspired by my own lived experiences, my training, and my ongoing professional development. I am committed to continuing to learn and expand my perspective throughout my life. I am proud to have found my place at PsychOrium, a practice dedicated to advocacy, compassion, and authenticity.
I am a firm believer that we must know our values and that we must intentionally act in a manner that is true to those values. I endeavour to act with my personal value system as a guiding moral compass, in all aspects of my life, and I bring this to my work as a psychologist.
