I have experience supporting the individuals I work with through a range of challenges, presentations and life transitions. I enjoy working alongside people in identifying their goals, values and boundaries and assisting them in developing the skills they require to feel safe and empowered in their daily lives. A lot of my work involves providing an understanding into how our early life experiences and cultural expectation can impact our relationships with ourselves, others and our interactions with the world. My areas of interest are emotional regulation, nuanced ADHD and Autism (particularly in women), parenting and Trauma.
My work involves an integrative and holistic approach that is tailored to each individual's needs. I draw on relevant therapies including CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT, Positive Psychology and ACT. I operate within a person-centred, trauma-informed and Neurodivergent affirming paradigm.
