I am experienced in counselling, assessing, and treating adults from late adolescence through to the very elderly. I have been privileged to work with a broad range of clinical presentations, including alcohol and other drugs, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, including complex presentations, personality disorders and neurodiverse presentations.
I am passionate about improving my clients’ quality of life. I work from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic (CBT) framework and use traditional CBT as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and I am qualified to deliver Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Professional Psychology,
I am passionate about improving my clients’ quality of life. I recognise the courage it takes to begin a therapeutic journey and I aim to facilitate a warm, collaborative relationship with clients where we can explore pathways to meaningful change together. I am a working parent, and have experienced a full life along with many of life’s challenges.
