Research shows that the therapeutic relationship (e.g., how well you get along with your psychologist) can be just as important as the work we do together. I think therapy should not be rigid and I try to emulate that. I have a very open and relaxed manner that I hope will allow you to feel comfortable in describing your situation. I'm a published men's mental health author and currently doing a PhD at Monash University, investigating how Buddhism and Western psychology deals with negative emotions. Additionally, I am a university-trained naturopath who has lectured in the southern hemisphere’s largest natural medicine college, Endeavour.
