I enjoy working with individuals who have experienced complex or single-incident trauma and interpersonal and/or attachment difficulties. This can present as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use issues, and/or personality disorders. I primarily work with older adolescents and adults in addressing these issues.
I primarily practice within CBT and DBT frameworks, incorporating elements of Schema Therapy, EMDR, and Psychodynamic-informed practice where appropriate. I like to have a collaborative, person-centred approach to treatment.
Reaching out for support can be difficult and I aim to make that process as comfortable as possible. I understand that it is important to have your therapist be a good fit and thus an initial, brief, call would be beneficial for both of us.
