About
I am passionate about ensuring people feel respected, heard, and welcome. My personal approach to therapy is client-centred, working from a humanist perspective to understand the individual, their relationships, and their worldview. My personal approach to counselling is to consider each client with compassion, understanding, and curiosity, in a warm and non-judgmental manner to establish trust and maintain rapport. My main therapeutic approaches draw from elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I am a Generally Registered Psychologist with experience working therapeutically with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. I have experience working in the private and public sector, working with clients both individually and in group settings. I am comfortable working with people of all backgrounds and identities.
