Hey! I’m Amy, a chill, down-to-earth therapist. I do not claim to be an expert with all the answers, and I am not here to judge you. I care about creating a space together where you can be real and share your story. We can explore what’s going on for you in the moment, your thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and talk about how you make sense of it all. My particular practice is all about slowing down and getting curious. I believe the most meaningful change comes from understanding and accepting who you are, not forcing yourself to be something different. I’m big on connection, creativity, and having a bit of fun along the way.
I bring warmth, honesty, and care to this work. I’m a queer therapist with lived experience of grief and trauma. I work relationally and collaboratively, with a focus on how systems of power and oppression shape our lives and wellbeing. This is a space to explore yourself and the world we're trying to survive in.
Reaching out for therapy can feel scary, and you don’t have to be sure or have everything figured out. Give me a call or send me an email and we can figure out together what might be the best next steps forward for you. I do in-person sessions in Brisbane or online :-)
