Hiya, my name is Amy. I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist who specialises in ongoing psychotherapy that supports a deep understanding of self and offers a long-term support in the form of a caring therapeutic relationship.
I would describe the way I practise as caring, gentle, curious, non-judgemental and open and honest. Together I would hope that we can explore the different aspects of your life that you seek to understand and gain clarity on what you need. Through a deeper awareness of your experience comes natural growth, lasting change and hope.
I have experience working with all kinds of people! I am a queer therapist who is anti-oppressive and I bring an awareness of systems and how they impact our lives. longside talk therapy I bring elements of creativity through art therapy, psychodrama and other creative ways to express yourself. I promise it's fun and ofcourse always guided by you!
I am trained in Gestalt therapy, a humanistic, existential therapy that seeks to deepen understanding and build a meaningful therapeutic relationship. If you're looking for a quick-fix or solutions based therapy, I am not the person for you. Reaching out can be scary but I promise it's worth a try. If you resonate with my profile, send me a message.
