Having spent many years working with people recovering from natural disasters in Queensland, I understand that very often, it is the ‘straw that breaks the camel’s back’ that will bring a person into the counselling room. Having said that, some may enter the counselling environment looking for personal growth, while embarking on a new season in life. While others may be looking to find solutions to a problem, heal a troubled relationship, overcome anxiety or depression, maybe navigate the intricacies of ones neurodiverse brain or perhaps the time has come to work through past hurts, traumas or grief that are still impacting.
I provide a respectful, supportive, and confidential space as a professional Counsellor to help you work toward positive change. Using an integrative, person-centred approach, I draw on Expressive Therapy, Symbol Work, EFT/Tapping, and traditional talk therapies to engage both hemispheres of the brain, fostering meaningful growth and healing.
People say they feel feel at ease with my compassionate, non-judgemental approach. As a Clinical Registered Therapist with PACFA, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and trained in Neurodiversity, specifically ADHD and ASD providing informed, supportive care, I also engage in continued professional development to remain at the height of my profession.
