Hi, I am Amanda (she/her), shamelessly human first, therapist second. I enjoy bringing both of our humanness to the therapy space, where you can colour outside the lines and express the messiness of being human with no judgement. I am down-to-earth, warm, and genuine, where I aim to empower you to tell your story, as we explore and clarify how you show up in your everyday life. Collaboratively, we will deeply delve into the roots and patterns of habits, behaviours, and mechanisms to gain a deep understanding of ‘why you are who you are’ and ‘why you do the things you do’.
Through my caring and gentle approach to therapy, I aim to provide a space free of judgement where a client feels safe and comfortable from the first session. Mental health is complex; solely treating symptoms will not lead to lasting change. I work holistically, considering the whole person's multidimensional aspects of wellness.
I acknowledge the path to healing can be daunting and overwhelming, I commend your strength in taking the first step in reaching out to book a session. The journey of healing and self-discovery is different for everyone, and I will work collaboratively with you to overcome life’s challenges and complexities so you can heal and grow.
