I have worked with individuals and couples for over thirty years, helping them negotiate the struggles of life in this time of quick change, uncertainty and significant social pressure. Relationships are the first victims when people become anxious or challenged in their lives. Yet I believe relationships are the core to good mental health and personal development. These issues are relevant to people of all ages, and not specific to gender, race or religion. The presenting symptom could be grief, anxiety, depression, arguments, irritability or any form of dysfunctional behaviour - the underlying issue has to be addressed.
Psychology is a rich discipline. We work with blatant mental health issues, as well as physical health issues such as chronic pain or illness, weight or eating disorders, grief and the responses to difficult life circumstances and work stress. As a Health and Clinical Psychologist, I work with all these presenting problems, especially with couples affected.
I am a caring trained professional shoulder to cry on. A coach who can help you achieve your goals. An interpreter and mediator of feelings for couples who have lost touch with each other.
