I have over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families across a range of settings including youth mental health services, youth drug and alcohol services, child protection system, school setting and private practice. This has involved working with young people, parents and families with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, adjustment to major life changes or events, social and relationship issues, schooling issues, anger and aggression, sleeping and eating difficulties, grief and loss, neurodivergent, and sexuality and gender diversity.
I take an integrative and trauma-informed approach based on a range of theoretical frameworks including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy. Additionally, I am a certified Circle of Security Parenting program facilitator.
