Feeling better is great, but I love to empower people with skills, strategies, and mechanisms to DO better. Strategic Psychotherapy is about effecting measurable change and progress. Talking about things and debriefing is great and comforting, however progress is what really counts.
As a trauma informed therapist, I provide sensitive and compassionate evidence based therapies such as EMDR to people with PTSD. I also work extensively with overcoming patterns of anxiety and helping unhook from depressive thinking. I love providing couples therapy, and relationship therapy that assists couples to build skills for functional relationships.
As someone who battled to overcome CPTSD, I know what it's likely to struggle and fall through the gaps, and I learned first hand how significant appropriate therapy can be to recovery. It is my privilege to support others on their own journey to wellbeing. I look forward to working with you.
