My website
I provide compassionate, strengths-based therapy for adults who are seeking help for various life challenges and psychological issues. Many people seek help for depression, worry, anxiety, trauma, stress or grief. Some have long-term difficulties in relationships, self-defeating beliefs or behaviours, and difficult emotions. My aim is to provide people with space to be heard, to help make sense of their difficulties, increase their self-acceptance, and to build skills to create the life they want to live. I appreciate the extra challenges faced by people in rural and remote areas, having lived and worked in some of these.
A calm space
I use a range of evidence-based approaches which are flexible and uniquely tailored to individual needs. These include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Phased Relationship-Based Therapy for Complex Trauma, Schema Therapy and Family Systems Theory.
We all experience challenges in life and it can be difficult to reach out for help. I provide a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, and we work at your pace. You are welcome to contact me if you want to know a more about my service.
