Hi, I'm Alysha and I work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and communities. I offer a warm and safe space where people can feel more empowered in their lives and build and strengthen their relationship with themselves, with others and their world. Each person has their own goals and deserves a unique approach that suits them and supports them in working towards the life they want.
I am a fully registered psychologist and have worked in community, private and not-for-profit mental health settings, including years in the drug & alcohol sector. I work with clients with anxiety, including social anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem, trauma and neurodivergent challenges.
I believe one of the most important elements in therapy is building trust and rapport, and creating the best possible space from the very first session. I work at a beautiful clinic, where we can walk and talk by the river, spend time with the clinic's animals, sit in our cozy rooms, or whatever you need to feel safe and comfortable.
