I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience and believe in the potential for all of us to continually grow, adapt and heal from the past. Working from a client-centred and evidence-based approach, I aim to provide a warm and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their struggles and achieve their goals. I have worked in private practice, hospitals and universities providing both individual and group therapy. I have an interest in working with people with a range of difficulties including but not limited to relationship issues, family trauma, anxiety, depression, alcohol addiction and low self-esteem.
Using a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to individual client needs and preferences, I offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to adults of all ages.
Helping clients to heal from trauma and connect authentically in their relationships, I bring curiosity, warmth and humour to my work. Reduced fee sessions for children, adolescents and adults are being offered by Provisional Psychologist, Natasha Slater under my supervision at Psychology On The Park.
