I work with people who find that words alone aren’t always enough — especially when experiences are held in the body as images, impulses, or sensations rather than clear narratives. I work in a relational, body-based way, integrating creative and somatic processes to support exploration, awareness, and meaning-making. I work with both children and adults, offering a collaborative and flexible approach that supports more-than-verbal ways of communicating, understanding, and expressing experience. I am drawn to creative expression and somatic awareness as ways to reclaim the agency of our bodies and narratives.
I am registered as a Clinical Counsellor, hold a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice, and am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (c). These approaches support exploration of experience when thoughts and feelings are difficult to communicate in words alone, and may include visual arts, play, exploring sensation, movement, music, or story-making.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and an understanding of trauma as personal, collective, historical, and systemic. My work is shaped equally by imagination and world-building, through awareness, experience, arts, and embodiment.
